Landscaping Company Shears Competition with New Request Module
The Challenge
A Southern California landscaping company that specializes in commercial maintenance, design/build construction and landscape architectural services is managed by individuals who understand and believe in relationship services was continually searching for ways to provide seamless service delivery as well as ways to keep their organization ahead of the competition. With (X) amount of clients and (x) amount of service requests (in a given time), the client was interested in streamlining and documenting work requests while empowering the customer to submit a request 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The client needed a module that would allow them to better document their activity, streamline work requests, as well as improve communication amongst customers and staff all while staying a head of the competition.
The Solution
Providing added value to their clientele, the client rolled out Sentact’s service request module to their customer base. Sentact allows customers a simple, user friendly web-based work order request form for their landscaping needs. The customer fills out their request online and the trouble ticket is sent directly to the landscaping company’s account managers. The user then receives confirmation that the request has been received, notification when the work is scheduled to be performed and an additional confirmation when the work has been complete. This open dialog with customers has distinguished this business from their competitors.
The Sentact solution:
- Provided a user friendly web-based work order request form
- Automated the trouble ticket generation and dispatch process
- Provided easy to use reporting tools to track and trend real time results
- Enabled customers to check on the status of their request
The Results
- Streamlined and automated the request process
- Increased customer satisfaction
- Improved service delivery
- Identified areas that required improvement through Report analysis
- Increased communication between the client and their customers
