Frequently Asked Questions
Data is stored in our Data Centers and also remotely backed up in a secure location. The data is protected by several components. Below are a few ways Viasant ensures the data’s integrity and safety.
Technical Safeguards
- Module and Application Audits: Viasant integrates active server agents (probes) to securely provide key information about numerous activities behind Sentact’s firewall to protect our customer’s data. This methodology enables a wide range of diagnostics which include network layer and server response, database response, database connection to integrated 3rd party modules, and unauthorized module file changes.
- Network/Transmission Security: The site is protected by HTTPS and our servers are only accessible through SSH2 by hosts allowed through firewall permissions.
